Our Story

Froschkönig is a bilingual (High German / English) day care centre. We’ve been providing a better way to combine family life and careers since October 2006. Many parents today no longer ask if they can manage children and a career, but how they should arrange this. We are here to support parents and families who are looking for such a solution by providing advice and practical assistance.

Children need a loving, sensitive and stimulating environment. Parents need reliable and competent childcare. Froschkönig Day care combines the two with ease and love.

Children who are two (or about to turn two) are very welcome.

Opening Times

Froschkönig is open Mondays to Fridays from 7.30 to 18.30. Parents can choose a half day (a.m or p.m) or a full day care service. In this way the children’s habits as well as the career needs of the parents can be accommodated.

Froschkönig is open all year round, except on public holidays, between Christmas and New Year, and the first week of January.

My son attended FK 2-3 times a week for almost 3 years from when he was 18 months old. I highly recommend FK, the owners and staff. All of the carers are positive, warm and energetic people who create an interesting and fun schedule for the kids.

They also ensure the kids learn how to behave, good manners and how to interact with their peers. The snacks are healthy and the lunch all freshly home-cooked.

I appreciated the loving and secure environment for my son, and he loved being there. The owners are also very flexible and understanding, which was a great help for me with my irregular work schedule and 3 kids to manage. I cannot recommend it highly enough !
